A few years ago we had a similar surprise from Switzerland. We were in a
rental car and briefly over the Swiss border from Italy and about 2mph max over
the speed limit but a hefty fine meandered to our place a month later. The
trains run on time and the ticketing is efficient.
Speed limits are a suggestion in Massachusetts (except where there not like
