Nothing says "Alaska" quite like launching cars off of a 300 foot
cliff for the 4th of July. Glacier View, Alaska.

There were probably around 10,000 people that showed up to this little
"almost a town" about 2 hours northeast of Anchorage to watch cars get
launched at full steam off the cliff. The tortured sound of an engine
at red line (ree ree ree ree) followed by a solid boom is somehow
quite satisying. One car actually made it all the way down and pretty
much flattened itself in place.
