Just checked. Mine also show a little bit at f2.8 Never noticed before!

Subject: [OM] 35-80mm diaphragm
I honestly have not seen many of these. Customer claims that blades show a
little at 35mm f2.8. Is this normal (like a zoom with constant f stop) or
not normal. Cust. wants me to take the blades OUT. Won't be doing that.
I think there's just a defect (or tampering). All input appreciated.
