You nailed my dilemma, Moose.  After the slightly larger Fuji image, and taking advantage of recent processing tools, my final cropped, processed image is almost equal to the 50-200 result, with a lot less risk of falling on rough ground while encumbered by heavier gear.  I find myself most often choosing the lighter package.

Nice spider, well captured.

I see your dilemma. This longer FL shot shows little more detail that the first one, and DoF limitations make the abdomen soft. Yet — the E-M1 with 50-200 is a great deal larger and heavier than X-T2 with 18-55.

The smaller, lighter kit must be very appealing.
