Beginning Thursday, we had some morning mist around Alicante, and it continued
on Friday. This provided me with this nice view during my pre-work bike ride on
Friday morning:

Later on Friday, we got a sustained day of wind from the south, bringing fine
sand from the Sahara up to Spain. On Saturday morning there were long queues at
all the car washes I passed, as people wanted to restore the original colours
of their cars from the reddish hue they all had. I was not among those people,
however, as I consider car washing a waste of time. That’s what rain is for.
