Thanks, just that I took a lot of photos and everyone was more
interested in people shots I took. The step daughter was at an
age where she was a great model. At some point iPhones took
over and the FB smile became the thing.

Are you sure you are not mixing me up with some else? I have no
idea. I had the 100mm and the 180mm macro for Canon. Most of
my macro shots were with the 180mm. I miss that lens.

Since I have never DAMed my photos, not sure where to look even.

I have one of your photos you kindly sent. I also use it for inspiration.

Speaking of inspired, Jamie Windsor had an interesting youtube on
"Why your idea's not original", which I posted once before here.

Our hidden memory at work. Our eye sometimes sees things the
conscious part of our brain does not. I think we discover our style
rather than create it.

I also do some Zen practice and photography. In Zen meditation
the "discriminating" part of the mind is reduced. It also affects
seeing. Although it doesn't always translate into better photos,
but does make taking photos more fun. Having fun is the most
important ingredient for me.
