I met one this week.  Some months ago, a family friend and I, both Volvo 
owners, both read an obit that appeared to be a long-time Volvo shop 
owner we both knew.  Reluctantly, I called his old shop number this week 
to see if they were still in business, found that they were, and set up 
an appointment for service.  Sometime after I got to the shop, the 
supposedly deceased shop owner appeared.  I hid my surprise, shook his 
hand, and dealt with him as I had in the past.  It was a very pleasant 
surprise.
