I haven't been that adventurous yet. I'm still trying to understand how
to get the settings I need for my type of images. I will get there
eventually.

Thanks! The ones with super deep DoF are focus stacks. Your E-M1 can
do both Focus Stacking, in camera blending of eight exposures and
Focus Bracketing, which takes a series of exposures at different focal
distances. Putting them together happens in software. PS is pretty
good at many stacks. Oly's in camera Focus Stacking has serious
limitations, tat make it unappealing to me.
and your new walk-around camera looks like it can hold its own with
the bigger boys.
There are some limitations, but it's pretty amazing for the physical
size, sensor size and zoom range.
