[OM] Keys and Mice

I'm learning that having two Best Buy stores nearby is a rather dangerous thing.

First of all, I like my HyperX keyboard so much that I acquired a
second one for travel, as well as my own personal computers. The
second one is the smaller keyboard that lacks the numeric keypad.
Otherwise, it is identical and I got the MX Blue switches again. I'm
actually trying it out on my desk right now and enjoying it as it
doesn't take up quite as much space. It's easy to switch between the
two as I just need to swap USB cables at the keyboard.

Secondly, I had a couple of mice go feral. That's why I went to the
store in the first place. I got a Corsair Dark Core RGB SE gaming
mouse. I also got a decent sized gaming mouse mat to go with it. What
an incredible pleasure this combination is. It's a HUGE improvement
over anything I've used before. With just a press of a button, I can
change the resolution of the mouse (speed). It's perfect for both my
engineering drawings and for detail work in Photoshop.

Regarding the mouse pad. This one is the Corsair MM200 cloth mouse
mat, 360mm x 300mm. While rather large, I find it rather nice because
I can move my mouse around a lot without picking it up and relocating
it. Or I can just have the mouse in different parts of the pad for
comfort reasons and not need to relocate the pad. Just use the mouse
where you want to use the mouse.

The mouse itself has several programmable buttons, which I'll build
the macros for Visio. There are a couple of things that I do all the
time (format paste, bring forward, bring backward) that need their own
buttons.

I've got both wings installed on the mouse (claw grip?). This is
really nice as my fingers don't need to drag around on the mat. It is
an extremely comfortable mouse and has a couple of very subtle
dimensional and texture characteristics which really make a
difference. From this point forward, I think I may only buy gaming
mice as they are such an improvement over normal task mice. It isn't
just the sensitivity, but it's also a weight/balance kind of thing.
The sliders on the bottom are a perfect match to the cloth mat and the
sliding resistance is literally perfect.

Don't buy one without the other.

Corsair makes good stuff. I picked this mouse because I prefer
wireless, but it will also operate wired (which also charges it). The
SE model includes the wireless charging function.

Based on what I'm experiencing with this mouse/mat combination, I
think I may not need or want to utilize pen devices quite so much.
