I wonder as well, Chris, but at least it doesn’t have to pour money into its
fuel tank, nor worry about noise abatement at the most lucrative destinations.
I live about 10 miles from Cardington and I sometimes visit to see the huge
hangars. When I flew from RAF Wyton they were easily visible from over 20
miles when the weather was suitable.
