Is it the exposure reset pin getting stuck in the head of a screw in
the lenses mount?

I was wondering about that, too. Seems like the thing that is
different between the bodies listed and others. Unfortunately, Mark
apparently pays a lot for each word, so uses very few. He might have
mentioned if the lens works on the older bodies. Maybe also whether
the mount has been altered in any way.
But pix of the mounts of a couple of 16/3.5 lenses show the same
three screw arrangement, in the same places, as a garden variety
50/1.4. There are a couple of pins, or some such, in the mount. As
far I can tell, holding a lens against an OM-4, the one that is near
wouldn't touch the switch, and looks flush, anyway.
And then, the OM-4 fires with or without lens attached, reset button
pushed.
Huh? Moose

Mark makes up for my proclivity to burn holes in the Internet with my
rather verbose thesis.
But I was thinking that there were a few lens models that had
different types of screw head. Some of my lenses have flat-head
screws, but most are cross-type. Not sure which are friendlier to the
pin. If worse comes to worse, just fill in the heads with Bondo. :)
