When we took our cruise to Alaska a couple of years back, we were
constantly amazed by the splendor of the scenery. We splurged for a cabin
with a window and a balcony because, unlike a Caribbean cruise where 90% of
the time your view is water, water, and more water, there was absolutely
breathtaking landscape to watch most of the time.

We would love to go back and take a different cruise that also includes a
train trip up into the interior.

This is one of my favorite photos from the trip - it's a 47-image stitch. I
will get it printed one day, as soon as we find enough free wall space to
hang a 5-foot-wide print.
