No way around that, if you want the small size. It's the same thing as the
Oly Pen half frame cameras (and others). Cut a horizontal format in half,
6x9 MF or 24x36 35 mm film, and you end up with a vertical format - or a
camera that's taller than wide, and handles completely differently.

IMSO, such cameras are for portrait format folks, not me.
