     BTW:  If you go shopping for a local ISP, there may still be one up there 
called mosquito.net.  Very appropriate, as you will soon learn.

     Alaska is an interesting place to fly in.  If you don't have a seaplane 
rating, you're out to lunch.  Markair may still have the largest commercial 
fleet of C-130s.  And Alaska was the very last place in the US to have Blue and 
Red airways, which used VLF beacons.
