Our local (Phoenix) predicament with high temperatures affecting flight
operations has gotten the attention of the BBC:

The one statement that "Nobody in Phoenix does anything til 8PM when it
finally gets under 100 degrees" is a bit off. Yesterday it did not go below
110F until 1930 (7:30 PM), and it wasn't until 2200 (10:00 PM) that the
thermometer here went below 100.
