Paul,

The coliseum in Fort Wayne was originally built as a memorial to soldiers
who died in WWII. I don¹t know the names of the sculptures, but I know
they were installed during the coliseum¹s construction (1950-1952).

I would ask the coliseum¹s management, they could tell you the history.
