So in other words, they use acetone ............. an organic compound (CH3)2 CO ...... and probably charge ten times the unit cost rate of bottles to be had at any DIY store. Me, I use VIM to clean my cuticles and nail surfaces :-)

Not really an answer to your question, but a "Nail Parlour" near us proudly

How does one determine whether MEK, or acetone, or neither is compatible

My camera instruction manuals do not appear to make any reference to DIY
glue down jobs.

Plus 2 for Pliobond.

Contact Cement if you can't find it.

Not to argue with my senior ;-), but I hate super glue.

I got a full set of E-1 rubber from John a few years ago.

Helped make a new (looking) camera out of mine.

(Shoulda remembered to order a new screen guard, too. )

Good to know. I've used Pliobond in the past for model railroadey
stuff - I
can pick up a tube.

OK, I pulled the old girl out of the bag to use it a little, and

that the rubber on the right-hand grip had come unglued. What's the
recommended adhesive for re-sticking it?
