Apparently sitting just inside the entrance to one's garage is a global
thing, assuming garages, of course. It is very popular here in Maine (not
now). A family down the road with a huge garage in which they winter their
lobster boat, have garage-dedicated recliners. I see your fellow goes for
the minimalist approach.
