A rumor confirmed a few times that this is under development. Would enable AF
PD/AF for Zuikos by moving the sensor.
Still rather speculative, but intriguing. How could AG resist that? He would
have to sell the bimmer if necessary. Floating element lenses wouldn't take
kindly to focusing this way
and long teles might require too much movement so likely would require manual
focus to get close at least then should achieve spot on focus. Looks like has
IBIS too. :-) We'll see if comes to fruition.
There was a Contax at one time with a similar concept, no?
