Alas, we had to return the duchess to her palace in South Portland today.
We had her for a week, and it was a very busy week indeed--including the
birth of her baby brother Roman.
Family is fine, if a bit bedraggled, but they seem to have it somewhat in
hand. We'll start one-day-a-week care again next week, not so much because
they need it, but because their doc told them to keep Herself's schedule as
close to normal as possible to ease her own transition from being the
center of attention and apple of everyone's eye to first-born of two
children. <g>
We nodded thoughtfully in agreement with this and smiled inwardly because
we thought our services would not be needed while Duncan and Shiva are off
work.
