Just checked my E-P5 with 12-40, I have set the lens to F2.8 and F8, the 
resulting footages look having the same DOF. It seems that the camera just 
went to P mode when shooting movies. You may need to use manual lenses for 
"A" mode.
The major different between Cine lens and normal lens is the focusing scale. 
The Cine lens has much finer distance scale for better manual focusing, high 
price is due to low demand. Of course some are really having better image 
quality but I doubt most of them are just the same or even poorer.
