What does one call that "style", pastiche? Mish-mash? Just ugly? Is it as busy
and choppy inside?
Well, there is no accounting for personal taste and I have learned to keep my
opinion to myself since I work in the building trade. In this case I must bite
my tongue until it bleeds and keep the airplane bag handy. The photos are
designed to sell and don't show that it sticks out like a sore thumb and is a
scar on the landscape viewed from anywhere but the house itself. It would fit
right in in Vegas rather than the PacNW. Seems to be a trend to move in and
impose what may have worked at home to the new environs. (I can tell a few
stories about how that worked out) It did keep my friend and his crew in
groceries for a few years. Now the trick is to find someone with the same taste
and $25m.
