Yeah, I suppose. But I'm now back in gear again for enlarging 4x5.
I've actually got three 4x5 enlargers right now. An ancient Federal
that my Dad gave me, the Omega, and a Besseler. The Omega is in the
best condition of the three. The Besseler is missing a few things
(like the lens plate), but could be put into service pretty easily by
scarfing a few things off of the Federal. I was going to see about
putting the Omega on the Besseler base, but that turned out to be a
no-go.
So, there is a 4x6 glued and screwed to the wall with the wall mount
base for the Omega bolted to the 4x6. It's quite stable. I've got the
smaller 6x6cm Chromega next to it on the same 6 foot work bench. The
timer controls both. The wet side is on the opposite wall.
