I only picked up the flash last week (a Nikon SB-400 - which Ken Rockwell
recommended) so it was a bit of an experiment.
It let me use 800asa instead of more like 4000 - and gave me a small
catchlight in the eyes.
And if you didn't notice it then it did what I wanted!
