I'm spending over $500 per year so somebody can get to ride the bus.....
Typical short-sighted attitude. It's waaaay more complicated. So, let's
save you $500 and do away with public transit. What if all the people
riding the bus or using other transportation started driving? Where
would they park? How much would it cost to build and maintain the
infrastructure to accommodate? There is no way you can build yourself
out of auto gridlock. They will come. Some of the Walmart workers don't
have cars and lose their jobs. So we not only pay their medical
insurance and food stamps as we are now doing but they go on full
Medicaid, etc. etc.
Ag, your $500 is a bargain and an investment.
