The artists I had Sunday night, Acoustic Eidolon, are wonderful people.
Hannah is a world-class cellist, and her husband Joe plays an assortment of
guitars, including two that are of his own design with two necks. One neck
is strung like a guitar with an extra treble string, the other is strung
like a banjo with an extra bass string. He plays both necks, picking one,
using hammerons and pulloffs on the other. The result sounds beautiful and
very harp-like.
The top 4 photos in the gallery are from the show, including a closeup of
Hannah's cello case, covered in stickers from all of the places around the
world where they've played.
