Nah, your brain had actually been cooking that problem in the subconscious for months. It's just that it took 20 minutes to rise to the surface of the conscious brain. But well done no matter how long it took.

I'm finding interesting treasures in my outtakes. It's not that there
is anything "right" about an image like this, but it is helping me
stretch my vision and imagination. On a positive note, it's been a
good three years since my mind has been at this state of creativity,
so it's very welcome.

It isn't just with photography, but also in my "day job". After
sitting for two months staring at my maps, network diagrams and other
resources with a complete blank for how to solve the design problem, I
was able to figure it all out in a matter of 20 minutes and had the
whole thing diagrammed and bill-of-materials figured out in an
all-nighter.
