Lightroom trick for beautifying faces:
1. Slide the clarity slider to the left a bit. However, if you go too
far, it does bad things and causes the hair to lose definition. You
can make up for this by increasing contrast.
2. Noise Reduction. Be careful with color noise reduction because it
can cause some parts of the face to go gray. But you reduce some of
the local contrast in the skin.
3. Crank up the saturation of the image with the vibrancy and
saturation sliders, but use spot correction to back it off in the
skin.
4. Makeup. No substitute for makeup.
5. Lighting. No harsh shadows.
The last two tips are shooting tips. The more you do during the shoot,
the less you have to do after the shoot.
