Roger continues the sensor stack saga. this largely pertains to use of
WA RF lenses on A7r
but no doubt OM Zuikos would perform at least slightly better with a
skinnier stack. Suspect the corner smearing and other color issues will
be only partially ameliorated by a thinner stack in the upcoming A9.
Sony does advertise use of the A7 series with alts so not clear why
they chose such a thick stack.
FE lenses seem to do OK if not totally optimal with the thinner stack.
Interestingly the Speedbooster for OM does account for the thicker
stack on most MFT cams and optimizes performance.
