Patrick Stewart is the only one from Second Generation who moved on
significantly, taking on the role of Dr. Xavier in the X-Men movies. He also
did a very good portrayal of Capt. Ahab in the Turner remake of "Mody Dick".
Overall, though, that movie was not well done as there is no Arctic scene in
the book, and they left out the extremely significant scene where Ahab is laced
to the side of the whale with his arm beckoning the others to follow him to a
watery grave, which was predicted by the seer on the warf at the beginning of
the book. A very, very serious omission.
George Takaei (sp?) has made brief appearances on Big Bang Theory. I
recently saw him in a brief appearance in a somewhat obscure Jerry Lewis movie
"Which Way to the Front?".
