I think his was the new Velbon UT 45L? and my new Sirui T-025 X CF. For
the amazingly short travel length of the Velbon which was similar to
the Sirui
I think Moose's was sturdier unless the center column of the Sirui was
removed and weight hung on the carabineer. The sirui was slightly more
convenient for macro, though with remote phone apps upside down
mounting isn't as much of a hassle as it used to be. I prefer the A-S
system though as I have other largish cams that would benefit that are
going on future trips.
