     My Earthlink account has a SPAM filter, which is pretty effective except 
for the spammers who change their ISP name every day.  I more often use it to 
block emails from people that I find to be annoying or outright abusive.

     I don't get very many of the Russian girlfriend emails, but I do see a 
large number of such things on the right side of the monitor when I'm using 
Fazebook.
