No, Ruby Throat. ;-)

The Magnificent Hummingbird is much larger and wildly colored and found in the US only in southern Arizona. <https://www.google.com/search?q=Magnificent+Hummingbird&client=firefox-a&hs=nJ8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=sb&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=4h6WU52AEoShyASehYKYCg&ved=0CJkBEIke&biw=1671&bih=1128> :-)

The US East and Midwest have only one species, the Ruby Throat. Out West, we have several, but only generally see a couple where we live, Anna's year round and Allen's that go south for the winter. Rufous come through headed much farther north and then south again, but no one but an expert can tell them from the Allen's.

Thanks for looking!
