I've commented before about the north woods and films. Kodachrome and
Ektachrome turn the tree bark gray and the dirt loses life. The
Fujichromes "see" these things differently. In fact, with digital, the
same thing happens, but the E-1 actually did a pretty good job of
bridging the gap a little bit.
Never photograph northern Michigan forests with Ektachrome.
