I arrived an hour ago so it's dark, but I can see there's a small pier and some
decent waves on the beach; it's not far north of Whitby and I plan to drive
slowly home on Thursday — across the Moors and the Hambledon Hill, perhaps.
It'll be quite an indulgence.
