Ginger Ale and Root Beer are both such diverse soft drinks. Each brand
has a distinct flavor and characteristic. My usual preference is
Canada Dry, but I could swear that they've sweetened it up a lot over
the past five years. It's getting to be like Mountain Dew. Shwepps is
OK, but is more "tonic water" than ginger ale.
Walmart's versions of either soft drink? Blah. However, their ginger
ale does work pretty well for mixed drinks. I'll use it in smoothies.
