I run some legacy statisitical software in a virtual machine XP mode
but I read device drivers in this mode are finicky.
I am not sure if it is xp 64 bit or not anymore as I set it up a couple
years ago.

Many reports this procedure ususally works fine.
Wish I had a good scanner. Mine crumped and have not done anything
about it yet.
