I thought I would conduct some preliminary tests of the A1 for interior shots.

I did some shots inside my study, at ISO 800 and these had too much noise. So
the shots in
this gallery are at ISO 200 max. Maybe at least one shot was too close.
Topic; in the kitchen where I made a stir-fry with the flesh of modern-day
dinosaur and a
small variety of veges, accompanied by one of the packet risotto meals for 4
that I use - with
the included chicken flavour sachet in this case. 15 minutes in the microwave.
The Minolta Dimage A1 is extremely quiet - even the photographer is unsure
going by noise
cues alone, as to whether or not the camera has fired. And the auto-focus is
equally silent.
However, the 5 M Pixel images to not equal those from the OM E-1.
I need to try some other indoors venue to test at greater distances.
