Every year Harmon the makers of Ilford Film does what they call an ultra
large format run, where they accept orders for various films in (mostly)
large sheet sizes. The orders are taken by dealers in various places,
and submited, where the film is produced and shipped. Most of the items
have no minimum order, and they will eve produce 1 Box of film.
After some discussion of the APUG web site, they were persuaded to offer
some roll film widths of HP5+ These will require a world wide order of
at least 20 rolls as I guess that they have to slit a fill 2000ft of the
stuff and they don't want to have to throw any away!
Both 127 width and 122 width can be ordered under this program. AND 70MM
both perforated and unperforated. ALSO they are willing to sell 100 ft
rolls of (Blank?) 120 backing paper.
It strikes me that slitting submini film from a 50 or 100 ft roll might
be easier than from roll film. also of course this may be a chance to
get out that old 122 camera if you saved some backing paper.

dealers set prices and will proably want the orders perpaid. If the
ordering of the roll film sizes are sucessful, we may be able to
persucde them to odd extra formats next year.
