I suspect that the same applies in most places, Bill - over here, it's my
impression that people do not go into teaching for the money. That it is to
a significant extent an oligopsony is, strangely, not a factor.

Piers, I hope you are right, but things must be very different where you
live. In the US, teaching is one of the lowest wage jobs for a college
graduate. No wonder there are so many stupid people in the US. I'm reminded
of a bumper sticker I saw last fall: CRITICAL THINKING: America's other big
deficit.

I want one, but can't afford it. Someone send me one, lol. I actually don't
have any lenses for my OM cameras anymore, had to sell them last year to pay
bills before I finally got my teaching job, but I still have two of my OM-4T
bodies. Someday I'm going to replace my lenses, I miss using the OM gear!
