Nope.  The Archbold Biological Station (west to east) is right about 
dead center in the state.  Nothing nearby except cattle ranches and 
citrus groves.  The nearest beach is probably 75 miles away.  No pythons 
either that I know of.  No one knows for sure I suppose but I'd guess 
the nearest python might be 30-50 miles south or southeast.  Now, 
eastern indigo snakes is something else.  Here's a shot of me holding a 
little one (they get to about 9 feet) from last year's Florida Zuikofest 
:-)
