It came on my dad's 50s Praktica, but I find that viewfinder useless and it
would require a CLA. It was my plan, if I
liked the results, to use the lens for more than testing. You know how nuts I
am about bad bokeh. :-) So, I thought it
best to test on the film/sensor I planned to use it on.

Once I found that surgery would be necessary. I did, in fact, go so far as to
get a nice legacy camera* for testing. But
the aperture stop down mechanism wouldn't let the lens screw all the way in! I
figured that was about time to give it up.

Later, I determined that it would work on the 60D, as it had on the 300D. At
least on the smaller sensor, it proved to
be a perfectly decent lens, but nothing special, neither especially good or
interestingly bad, and the bokeh wasn't any
better.

For now, and some time, for reasons that are unclear to me, it sits here on my
desk, exuding 50s Zeissishness. But why
is that PM-MTob sitting on top of it?

What if the Hokey Pokey *IS* what it's all about?
