Well, it certainly sounds like you have a real MC lens but the serial
number is definitely an outlier to the original survey. But who knows
if the original survey is correct or whether Olympus produced batches of
lenses in different serial number ranges. Afterall, I'm sure they
didn't set out to do anything with serial numbers other than to call
every lens unique. :-)
