For me, getting the 12-50 was a no-brainer. The Black Friday discount didn't
apply to the OM-D+14-45. so the 12-50 came in cheaper. The 12-50 is also
weather sealed and, from what I've read, has decent macro capacity.

Just getting ready to pull the trigger - is the 12-50 a better lens than the
14-45? I remember when I ordered my E-1 that the 14-54mm lens I got was the
preferred kit lens.
Also, just want to make sure I understand correctly that the Fotodiox 4/3 - to
- MFT adapter will work, but I may possibly need to tweak a pin.
