Ken,

You don't say what flavor of Windows you are using.  I explored the options 
in XP, and don't see anything that applies.

When my system was new, I could go back in time using System Restore.  For 
me, it no longer works.  If this just started, you might look at that 
option.

It sounds like a file got deleted or misplaced accidentally.
