Very fascinating, Brian. I had no idea what those long "tails" were
for. I've seen these things on rare occasion and got pretty freaked
out over them. I don't handle bugs well and these were definitely a
bridge too far. I'll scream like a little girl, shudder and be looking
for something to whack it with. I might hold off on the whacking part
now, but can't guarantee anything about the little girl screaming and
shuddering bit.
