We quirk differently. My idea of simplifying is to find one or two long ratio
zooms that cover everything

I'm quite often shooting stuff that doesn't move much, or at all, in the dim or
dark. Great high ISO is indeed
wonderful, but anything that lets me drop it down a notch or two is a plus for
me.

I hope I made it clear I was just reporting what reviewers have had to say.
I've never held one.

I would be concerned, if I were buying into the Fuji or NEX. With µ4/3, the
lenses are already there.

Through some fortuitous combination of luck and possible smarts, I completely
skipped 4/3s, went with an inexpensive
60D, rather than 5DII, and have relatively little in only a few EF lenses, none
expensive L glass. The most expensive,
10-22, should sell with little or no loss.

That ship already sailed, for me. The only OM mount lens I've actually used on
digital, as opposed to a tiny amount of
play, in the last couple of years is a Sigma 600/8 mirror. Wait a minute, I did
use the 200/5 on E-PL1, with good
results. Carol is using one image as the background on her iPad.

Yes, I believe so. The technology and market are still moving pretty fast.

Exactly my thoughts.

We swing differently. :-) I think old/classic cars are really nice to look at,
but I would get no enjoyment out of
restoring one or keeping one running.

It's all relative, I suppose, as my convertible is now almost 17 years old. ;-)
Maybe it will become a classic, the last
year Olds made a convertible, the only year with vastly improved interior. Now
I just have to figure out why the wrench
that worked the last two times doesn't seem to want to get in and grab those
last two spark plugs on the back side. :-(

And more power to you!

Quirky is as Quirky Does Moose
