Only one Starship left flying, but a number of hulks around the Beech plant. 
When the program was discontinued, the offered a buyback for all owners that 
was very liberal (they wanted to not have to support the AC), and all but 
one owner took them up on it. That owner is very happy with the AC and 
wishes to keep it for as long as possible. Don't know if the FAA limited the 
airframe life on it, but they did screw over Beech a lot on that program.

Thanks, Bill.  There once were a couple of Starships operating out of
Nashville, and I also recall the sound as similar to the Piaggio.
