FastStone can create a slideshow but only stores it as a Windows
executable file. Lightroom can create a slideshow and export as a PDF
or as MPEG-4. I have another piece of software that writes video files
to DVD and suspect (but do not know) that it will accept MPEG-4 as
input. But that means I have to tackle Lightroom and its silly
requirement that I use its catalog system which I do not want to do.
It's why I own Lightroom but don't use it. It would be nice to have an
integrated solution.
