Jim ..... you are correct. The Stag had flush side-of-car bodywork all the 
way from the front to the rear backbumpers. My father drove the saloon 
version of the Stag in the late 1960s ..... it was a very peppy 2L V6 UK 
originated auto and beautifully designed as well!
